Google Index URL Removal Service

May 29, 2015 By Jon Burr

Spam urls originating from your site?

If your site has been hacked by a black-hat SEO link builder or some other evil-doing hacker, cleanup is a 2-stage process.

Step one – Restore the site from a known clean version.

(You ARE keeping backups, aren’t you?) You may want to hire a site recovery specialist. We can assist you in this phase, and may recommend a service if necessary.

Step two – Deal with Google.

Ask for a review of your manual penalty, if you’ve gotten one, then help Google out by removing the dirty URLs from Google’s index.

Removing URLs is a manual process. Unfortunately there’s no way to upload a list of URLs for removal to Google. They’ve got to be entered one at a time.

Google keeps their methods secret – we don’t know if it’s a manual process for Google as well, but given the time it takes them to get around to removing dirty urls from the index, it’s quite possible they’re in the same boat as we are regarding evaluation of URLs for removal.

The best course for quick recovery restoring site health is removing the URLs in Webmaster Tools.

We’ve developed an accelerated process to do this using keystroke scripting automation, removing URLs by the hundreds, quickly.

After each round of removal, it takes Google a day to serve up more of the hidden dirt. They restrict display of indexed URLs to a thousand, most often not showing even that many. After URLs are removed, more dirty URLs will surface into a site search index results page. The removal process takes some time to complete. Unseen, indexed dirty URLs will surface at a rate between 20 and 100 a day.

We scan the results daily and remove dirty urls as they surface.

For this service, we charge 50¢/url. Give us a call or use the site email form.
